Emmanuel Muraille presents “Couture 2025” as part of the Uccle Artists’ Trail
- by Emmanuel Muraille
As part of the Uccle – Linkebeek Artists’ Trail, Emmanuel Muraille will exceptionally open the doors to his creative world. The exhibition “Couture 2025” will be held on 17 and 18 May 2025, from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm, at 19 Avenue du Vossegat, 1180 Uccle.
As artistic director of the Arachné Brussels fashion house, Emmanuel Muraille will present a selection of haute couture ensembles — textile works of art created from exclusive, nature-inspired prints.
An artistic approach at the crossroads of couture and visual arts
A graduate of ESA St Luc art school and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, Emmanuel Muraille was initially trained as a naturalist painter and photographer. His artistic practice is rooted in the careful observation of the living world, which he translates into contemporary textile creations with elegance and precision. Every print, silhouette, and detail reflects a commitment to both aesthetic refinement and artisanal excellence.
Founded in 2020, the Arachné brand is the embodiment of this fusion between art and couture. Based in the historic Passage du Nord in Brussels, the house includes a boutique and an atelier where all garments are handcrafted using certified natural fabrics. Arachné also offers a made-to-measure couture service.
A rare encounter with a singular creator
The exhibition “Couture 2025” offers a unique opportunity to explore another side of the work of a creator who approaches couture as a full-fledged artistic discipline. Through a selection of emblematic pieces, Emmanuel Muraille reveals a body of work that is poetic, rigorous, and deeply committed.
