Kimono for a stage performance

Sewing extends beyond ready-to-wear and haute couture—it is also an essential part of costume design.
For the theatrical production Princess Kaguya, directed by Bruno Muraille, we designed and crafted a traditional cotton kimono, accompanied by a linen apron and a decorative chest panel.
