Arachné’s journey began in 2020, envisioned by Emmanuel Muraille, a naturalist painter and passionate couturier.

From the outset, his vision was clear: to merge art and fashion, drawing inspiration from the wonders of nature to create unique pieces for women seeking elegance and grace.

The first Arachné collection stood out with its one-of-a-kind dresses and ensembles, adorned with artificial flowers, an artistic expression of the ephemeral. In 2021, this concept took full form with the Nigella Project, an extraordinary creation: a bolero embroidered with 1,000 artificial flowers, each carefully crafted from hand-dyed cotton and organza.

It was during this period that Emmanuel Muraille chose to further immerse himself in the world of couture. He intensively studied pattern-making and sewing techniques, resulting in the creation of twenty prototypes, each featuring hand-painted motifs designed to be printed on natural fabrics. These exclusive prints, true works of art, became Arachné’s signature, marking the beginning of a unique journey in fashion.

By November 2023, Arachné had reached a significant milestone: the serial production and sale of its designs in a boutique. Located in the heart of Brussels’ historic Passage du Nord, Arachné’s atelier-boutique is a space where craftsmanship, expertise, and innovation come together. Each piece is meticulously handmade, adhering to the brand’s ecological values, using natural fabrics certified by GOATS and OEKO TEX® 100.
