The Fire

This unique set consists of a cotton gabardine peplum jacket and a circular silk skirt with a petticoat. Made to measure only, in our studio.

The jacket is adorned with a pastel motif called "Autumn." This 61 x 130 cm artwork is part of a series depicting the four seasons, which was exhibited in 2016 at the Saint Bernard Space in Brussels.

The motif was initially used for the creation of a silk blouse in 2018.

The Fire is a tribute to the bustle dresses of Frederick Worth who liberated women from the crinoline, and to the Bar jacket by Christian Dior, an icon of the New Look.

In addition to the peplum jacket, a shorter version is offered in the ready-to-wear collection.
