The Story of the Arachné's Reversible Apron Dress
- by Emmanuel Muraille
The creation of this dress begins with a drawing.

The talented illustrator Mado designs a placed pattern, which she then colors.
The pattern-making process is relatively simple. To avoid disrupting the pattern, it is decided to limit the design to bust darts.
A first prototype is made in linen with jersey button tabs. Later, the buttons are removed as they are unnecessary since the dress can be slipped on from the bottom.
A simulation is performed for the placement of the pattern before sending it to the printer.
We decide to make the front of the dress in organic cotton satin, with a lining in cotton voile and connecting tabs in organic cotton jersey.
The first prototype with the pattern is made for a photo shoot with the elegant Svitlana.
Next comes the grading and production of sizes 36 to 44.
